Sinto manufactures a wide array of shot peening machines with two different projection
systems: the wheel type projects large amounts of shot over a wide area, and the other
is the air nozzle type projects shot over a limited area.
This high productivity machine treats products having large surfaces, by employing
one or more wheels rotating at a speed of 2000 to 3600 rpm to project large quant-
ities of shot.
The air nozzle peening machine utilizes compressed air to project shot from the
nozzle. Computer numerical control (CNC) allows for easy selection of projecting
speed, shot amount, angle, and distance from workpieces. This method effectively
applies peening to specific areas of workpieces. This style can be integrated into
an inline manufacturing system.
